REPORTS
P/E Liz Bannon advised that she has almost finalised the Board for 2017/2018 and raised the need for an extraordinary general meeting.
Consequently the Club decided to hold this on next Monday 5th June 2017. Liz advised she is proposing a smaller 8 member Board and has a need for one more director, possibly club service, so would welcome interest from member(s).

PP Judy raised the matter of the BBQ roster and advised she would circulate a new roster ASAP. There was also some discussion as to the viability of some of the weekly BBQ's and further investigation is needed prior to making ongoing arrangements including the net income and availability of weekend BBQ's which are much more lucrative than the weekday ones.
The recent Saturday BBQ at Bunnings on 27 May was very successful and netted about $800. Thanks to all who took part.

BBQ/Bar Manager Bob W. advised that it may be necessary for members to meet with Poyser management as there has been no response to our march letter. Charlie and Denis ???

Secretary Denis raised the matter of volunteers for the Wednesday Community Meal. Presently Roger collects same every week and Denis and Alison alternate to open up. Mary has recently joined us but Roger will be away on a study tour and Alison is presently not well. Collection involves picking up bread from Bath Lane about 4.50 and the food from St.John of God about 5.25 pm. Openers need to open up about 5.25 and everybody is usually finished cleaning up, dishes etc by 6.45 pm. The collector needs to return containers to the Hospital but this can be done next day if desired.
We are helped on site with serving and  clean up and  by community members.

Thank you to Charlie , Bob W. and Trevor who volunteered to be back up/emergency persons for this important community project.

HOSPITAL TOUR 22  MAY 2017
This was a great success and enjoyed by the 14 attendees, Our tour guide was very well informed and managed to answer nearly all our questions. The new facility is very impressive and Bendigo is very fortunate to have it. The tour was followed by dinner at the Rising Sun and several other members joined us for that. A good night was had by all and hopefully this type of social night will not be the last.

FINE SESSION
This was conducted by Acting Sergeant  Ian and provided some hilarity despite the lack of truth relating to some fines.

SWINDLE
This was  conducted tonight  and Roger triumphed again.
